The cp cavallito has all the advantages of a modern, high-tech helmet. For the first time, the hybrid technology combines the benefits of in-moulding and a rigid shell. As the lower part of the helmet is manufactured inan in-moulding process, the helmet remains lightweight, weighing just 500 g.

Simply turning the "run system" allows wearers to set the optimum size.

The cp cavallito complies with Euronorm EN1384 and thus all the FEI regulations governing a safety helmet for use in tournaments.

There is also scope for adapting your helmet:

To celebrate its 12^th anniversary, the Swiss brand cp is launching a winter sports helmet with visor for the first time. The examples for this top product are the modern helmets used in motorcycle racing and aviation, with the finishing or chromium plating of the helmet surface coming from the automotive industry. The polycarbonate visor offers 100% UVA-B-C protection and can be simply folded up or down. It can even be completely closed with a “comfort frame” that is clipped onto the bottom of the visor and is available as an option.

Thanks to the visor, the helmet is also recommended for spectacle wearers and for hotheads because of the variable ventilation system as this helmet is one of the best for expelling hot air and drawing in cool air.

cp is proud to present cp carbolito, the new high-end winter helmet.

The premium plastic carbon (carbon fibre-reinforced composite material) is no longer just reserved for Formula 1 drivers and racing bike professionals. cp produces the outer shell of the new hybrid helmet from premium carbon and the inner part is produced using an in-mould process to generate a high quality polycarbonate shell. And there's more: a new plus4 foil is integrated into the tried and tested COOLMAX lining. It has been scientifically proven that the wearer of the helmet benefits in four ways from the reflection of the infrared rays: improved balance, increased storage capacity for body energy and, as a result, optimised performance and improved well-being.

Integrated ventilation slots and 20 variable openings ensure that ventilation and cooling can be ideally adjusted to suit the individual’s requirements. The size adapting system that has been tested in practice is a matter of course at cp and comes as standard. The cp carbolito is available in autumn 2011 at specialist dealers in 4 sizes and 3 colour options.
