Switzerland – a Beach Soccer world power

The last 2 month the Swiss National Team won 12 of 16 international matches, 2 international tournaments and qualified themselves for de FIFA-WM 2011 in Rome!

Just last weekend at the GE Money Bank Beach Soccer Tour 2010 at the main station in Zurich they had their latest feeling of success beating the wm-participant Italy 9:4. Dejan Stankovic scored 6 times.

Wakeboardcable @ Zürifäscht 2010

Last weekend some shows and a competition took place on the Limmat – 3 days of the finest wakeboarding in the heart of Zurich!

The top athletes from all over Europe showed their best tricks and moves at the wakeboardcable, without any drive. There were no limits for creativity on the three water bars (spinekicker, slider, funbox). An absolute highlight supported also by cp! Dominik Gühr from Germany won this special competition.

Tanja Frieden on the board again

Due to the new sport “stand up paddle surfing”, Tanja Frieden is building her ankle, body and legs after her horrible accident in January 2010. Doctors and physiotherapists are satisfied with Tanja’s progress and gave her the permission for some activities like stand up paddle surfing on Swiss lakes. After a break, happy Tanja this fall will risk a different professional comeback. CP still fits Tanja out with trendy accessoires.

Marc wins @ Wakecity in Zurich

The 23th and 24th April 2010 the Wakecity contest took place @ Zurich. The ambition was to show spectacular jumps and tricks. This year for the first time the athletes were drawn through the water by a double mast lift system. This was a Swiss premiere and guaranteed some spectacles! The absolute most spectacular jump succeeded Marc Müller who runs for CP! Fantastic run!

Marco wins @ Jatzpark

The end of March the Rideaholikz Slopestyle JamSession took place at Jackobshorn in Davos. Marco Guhler, who runs for cp, won the contest. Congratulations!

Hardy: vice champion @ ISKA Snowkite World championship

At the ISKA Snowkite World championship 2010 at Lake Reschen (ITA) over 100 riders from all over the world competed in different disciplines for the world championship title. Our Hardy Brandstötter saved the vice champion ship title!

Tanja's retirement

At the media conference in Zurich last Tuesday Tanja announced officially her good bye of the elite sports scene. After her grave injury and its diagnostics, she decided not to continue her career. “It’s not the end of my career I’ve dreamed of”, says Tanja. Even if she knew, she won’t be part of the boarder cross scene many years more, the retirement just before the Olympic Games in Vancouver hurts.

We wish Tanja all the best, wherever her way goes!

Tanja Friedens dream of the Olympic Games's over

After a bad fall at the world cup in Stoneham CAN, Tanja cracked both of her Achilles. Because of this serious injury, she won’t be part of the Olympic Games in Vancouver. This weekend Tanja has already been operated at both legs in a clinic in Zurich.

"GO" Reto Burrell's new Album out in January 2010

The musician from Nidwalden, supported by cp, turns back from USA with a new CD. He recorded it in L.A. together with famous exponents, who have already played together with artists like Johnny Cash, Dixie Chicks, John Meyer or Kelly Clarkson.

The album promises a lot of love, a lot of pain, a lot of hope and wonderful guitars and vocals. The CD will be released on the 5^th of February at the Schüür in Lucerne:
